Neck pain can be extremely disabling and can be associated with headaches.

The cervical spine is mobile and has many possible pain generators.  The neck is made up of 7 bones, 6 disc spaces, 15 joints, multiple muscles, ligaments, and tendons; all of which can cause trouble.

Trauma, strains, or wear and tear at any of these areas can cause pain and can put pressure on things that don’t liked to be pinched.

The good news is the vast majority of isolated neck pain gets better on its own with time, activity modifications, and patience.
